Systems are fed by mains cold water pressure and offer these benefits above a conventional vented system:
No cold water storage cistern needed Showers perform better, baths fill faster Hot and cold water supplies balanced No special taps required
Pressure reducing valve and line strainer set to 3.5 bar.
Pressure relief and single check valve set to 6 bar.
Pressure and temperature relief valve set to 7 bar and 90°c.
External expansion vessel pre-charged to 3.5 bar.
Tundish and wall brackets.
Water connections 1⁄2" BSP.
Minimum recommended water pressure 1 bar.
Unit supplied with full installation kit comprising Expansion Vessel, Pressure Reducing Valve, Balanced Take Off Valve, Pressure Relief Valve (6 bar) and Line Strainer.
Factory-fitted pressure and temperature relief valve requires plumbing to waste in accordance with water authority bylaws.
Sacrificial Anode for added protection for element andinner container in aggressive water conditions - requires regular inspection and replacement when necessary.
Should be installed only by a suitably qualifieded installer of unvented electric storage water heaters.
To be wired to a double pole switched fused spur with a minimum break capacity of 13 amps.
Installation must comply with current IEE regulations.
Element can be changed without draining down.
Wall mounted.
Ensure wall is strong enough to support water heater when full (100lt water equals approx 100kg load).
