Taipei 101 in taiwan was until late 2008 the world's tallest building, and it features Instant Boiling Water systems from the Australian company that invented Instant Boiling Water technology in 1977!
Designed by C.Y.Lee & Partners, Taipei 101 was the world's tallest building until 2008 when the Burj Dubai overtook it. Standing at 509 metres (including the 60 metre spire) the award-winning building contains 4,125,000m² of floor space.
Taipei 101 is considered "post-modern", combining both Asian modern and traditional elements.
The Name 101 reflects the district's mailing code as well as the number of floors.
