Zip Instant Boiling Water - it's Kismet!

Most will never get any closer to this level of luxury than
photographs, but it is good to know we can all enjoy the
convenience (and luxury) of Zip Instant Boiling Water in our
own homes! As for the gilded staircase leading to the Supreme Black
Marble Jacuzzi - that might have to wait a year or two…

Last year Zip showed you inside
NZ-built super-yacht "Como", fitted with several Zip HydroTap
Instant Boiling Water units - now let's take a look inside the M.Y.
"Kismet" which, with all due respect, makes the magnificent "Como"
look a little bit like the "SS Minnow"…

M.Y. Kismet takes luxury to a level known only
to the owner of an Emirate and the people who lend money to Donald
Trump! When briefing premier yacht builders Lurssen and specialist
interior designers Reymond Langton, the
future owners of the Kismet stipulated that they needed,
"…a supreme atmosphere of luxury and comfort… which would
exceed that of a five star hotel"
You can read Langton's detailed description of the entire
interior design & fitout of Kismet here, but here are a
couple of details:

The owners of Kismet are accomodated in a self-contained
apartment about twice the size of an average Sydney flat
with walk-in wardrobes, bay windows, a large office and an en-suite
the size of a singles tennis court complete with large
double-shower room, his and hers double vanity units and a
pedestal-style spa-bath large enough to easily house a small pod of
dolphins!
Guests reside in a three-bedroom guest suite,
each room comprising king bed, private bathroom with spa and
separate sitting room.
In addition, one favoured guest gets the VIP
suite with incredible views over the Bridge Deck from the
bed. Basically your Mother in-law can watch the whales frolic as
you round Cape Horn without actually lifting her head from the
pillow! Talk about brownie points.
Common areas include a large Formal Dining
Room, a Balinese-style Beach House
featuring a skylight which doubles as the floor of the giant
roof-top spa(!) and a Discotheque with lights,
dance floor, lush couches and wet-bar complete with cocktail
bartender.

If you find yourself leaning too heavily on the bar at
around 3am, the Bartender might well offer you a cup of
tea which will arrive almost as fast as you can nod your head.
You'll think it's the nine Piñacoladas, but in fact the magic of
your three second cup of tea will come from Australian-made Zip
HydroTap!

There are three Zip HydroTaps fitted throughout the
vessel, speeding up the workflow of cooking and
preparation for the benefit of staff, and allowing them to enhance
the quality of service even more by delivering delicious hot drinks
- anywhere on board - in moments.

This story highlights the most common reaction to the
convenience of a Zip HydroTap - once you have
one in your kitchen (or your Super-yacht) you'll wonder how you
ever did without it!
